How a clearance proceeds
Everything starts with a free on-site visit. We usually come to see the space within 1–3 working days of your enquiry. We do not quote from a phone description alone, because the volume of belongings is almost always different from how it sounds.
After the visit you receive a fixed price. Once you accept the quote we agree a clearance day. We handle the carrying, transport, sorting and recycling — you do not need to be present the whole time, as long as we can get into the space.

Estate clearance as a special case
An estate clearance is a particular kind of job where the practical work always sits alongside an emotional dimension. We agree in advance what should be looked for, what is kept and what is recycled, and nothing is disposed of without the family's permission.
We have a dedicated page on estate clearance covering the process, pricing, the role of the heirs, and what happens to the belongings.
A clearing service is needed whenever there is more to remove than a car can carry, or when the timetable is tight. The most common situation is handing back a rented property that must be empty and cleaned by a specific date.
Many people try to handle the clearance themselves and only realise halfway through how much time, how many trips and how much in landfill fees it involves. Booking professionals is then usually both faster and, in the end, cheaper.

Clearing a rented property
When handing back a rented home, the landlord normally requires the property to be completely empty and cleaned. If belongings are left behind, the landlord will arrange the clearance and deduct it from the deposit — usually at a considerably higher price than booking it yourself.
Schedule the clearance a few days before the handover date so there is time for the final clean and for putting right anything that needs attention. We will tell you during the visit whether the timetable is achievable and what it requires.
Clearing service — frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions
We clear apartments, estates, business premises, offices, storage units, cellars and attics. We also remove individual pieces of furniture if a full clearance is not needed. We clear a space completely or only the parts you specify — during the on-site visit we mark clearly what is not to be taken.
The price depends on the size of the space, the volume of belongings and the location. Access matters too: a fourth-floor flat with no lift takes considerably longer than a ground-floor unit you can park directly outside. The visit and the quote are always free, and the fixed price is agreed before work begins.
Yes, the visit is free and carries no obligation. We usually come to see the space within 1–3 working days of your enquiry. We do not quote from a phone description alone, because the volume of belongings is almost always different from how it sounds.
Not for the whole time, as long as we can get into the space. Many customers open the door in the morning and return once the work is finished. If there are items whose fate you want to decide yourself, it is worth being present or at least reachable by phone.
We do not take belongings straight to landfill. Usable furniture and household goods go to charity or recycling, appliances and electronics to electrical waste recycling, and the rest is sorted appropriately at a recycling centre. Sorting is part of the service and is not charged separately.
Hazardous waste requires separate handling and cannot travel with an ordinary clearance load: paints, solvents, gas canisters and flammable liquids, materials containing asbestos, and large volumes of construction waste without a separate agreement. Mention these during the visit and we will advise where they should go.
Yes. When a company vacates premises the timetable is usually tied to the end of a lease, so we can carry out the work in the evening or at the weekend to avoid interrupting business. We remove furniture, shelving, archives and equipment. Tell us during the visit if the space holds material or devices needing particular care.
Yes. An empty space is not yet ready for handover, so we offer a final clean during the same visit. It is more practical and usually cheaper than booking a separate cleaning company afterwards. Schedule the clearance a few days before the handover date so there is time to do it properly.
We clear spaces across Uusimaa: Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kerava, Järvenpää, Tuusula, Nurmijärvi, Kirkkonummi, Porvoo, Kauniainen, Hyvinkää, Mäntsälä and Sipoo. The free on-site visit is included everywhere in that area, even if the clearance does not go ahead.
A typical apartment is cleared in one working day. Business premises, a large storage unit, or a space with a great deal of contents may take two. The estimate is given during the on-site visit along with the fixed price, so the schedule is known before work starts.
Yes. Mark during the on-site visit which items are staying or going elsewhere and we will leave them. If you want to sell some yourself, it is best done before the agreed clearance day — we can also set chosen items aside for collection.
