Moving day
Our professional team transports everything safely to your new address. You relax.
How the move proceeds
The process is designed so that you have to do as little as possible. You fill in the form or call, you receive a fixed price, you confirm the day — and we take care of the rest.
We contact you before moving day to confirm the practical details: parking, lift reservations and any building restrictions. On the day we arrive at the agreed time and the work proceeds without needing separate instruction.

Home moves, office moves and storage moves
Home moves are our most common service, from a studio flat to a detached house. A typical two-room move within the Helsinki region is usually completed within a single working day.
Office moves are often scheduled for evenings or weekends so the business is not interrupted. Workstations, archives and equipment are labelled and unpacked to a planned position in the new premises. For storage moves we transfer belongings from one unit to another or from storage to a home — we do not offer storage ourselves, but we handle the transfer.

Moving day — what to expect
We arrive at the agreed time and start by going through what is coming with us and whether anything needs particular care. Access routes and the more delicate furniture are protected before any carrying begins. You do not need to lift anything yourself.
At the new address, belongings are carried straight into the correct rooms provided the boxes are labelled by room. We reassemble any furniture we dismantled and finish by walking through the property with you to confirm everything is in place before we leave.
Moving in winter and in poor weather
In Finland a significant share of moves happen in snow, ice or rain. A winter move goes smoothly when paths have been gritted and snow cleared from in front of the parking space before we arrive.
We protect floors at both ends so slush does not end up indoors. Moisture-sensitive furniture and electronics are packed so they stay dry in transit. Plastic crates handle damp far better than cardboard, which is a clear advantage in winter.
Grit paths and steps in advance
Reserve a parking space as close to the door as possible
Clear snow between the parking space and the door
Have doormats ready at both ends
Pack electronics protected from moisture

Answers to the most common questions
We protect your furniture and the access routes, carry everything to the van, transport it to the new address and carry it into the right rooms. We dismantle and reassemble furniture such as beds, dining tables and wardrobes where needed. You do not need to arrange a vehicle, extra hands or protective materials separately.
We quote a fixed price agreed before the work begins. The final invoice matches the quote even if the move takes longer than estimated. An hourly rate can look cheaper at the quotation stage, but the final figure is only known afterwards.
The size of the home, the distance between the two addresses, the floor and whether there is a lift, and any items needing special handling such as a piano or a safe. Mention these when you request a quote so the price is right from the start and there are no surprises on the day.
You receive a free quote within 24 hours of submitting the form, and it carries no obligation. In urgent cases call us directly on 045 645 4033.
Yes, your belongings are insured throughout the move and you do not need separate moving insurance. Tell us in advance if there are especially valuable items such as artwork, instruments or collectables, so we handle them correctly and bring the right protective materials.
Yes. A piano, safe, billiard table or large aquarium needs the right equipment and enough people, and often a route planned in advance — not everything fits in a lift. Mention heavy items when you request a quote so we reserve the right equipment.
Yes. Office moves are often scheduled for evenings or weekends so the business is not interrupted. Workstations, archives and equipment are labelled and unpacked to a planned position. For storage moves we transfer belongings between units or from storage to a home — we do not offer storage ourselves, but we handle the transfer.
Yes, provided both the old and the new address are within the box delivery area: Espoo, Helsinki, Järvenpää, Kauniainen, Kerava, Klaukkala, Sipoo, Tuusula and Vantaa. Otherwise call 045 645 4033 and we will see what can be arranged.
Order moving boxes about two weeks ahead, reserve the building lift at both ends, and check whether a parking permit is needed for the removal van. Label boxes with the room they belong in, and keep keys, documents and valuables with you. In winter, grit the paths and clear snow from the parking space before we arrive.
We serve Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kerava, Järvenpää, Tuusula, Nurmijärvi, Kirkkonummi, Porvoo, Kauniainen, Hyvinkää, Mäntsälä and Sipoo. We also handle moves between the Helsinki region and the rest of Finland in both directions — give both addresses in your enquiry and we will quote a fixed price for the longer journey too.
A typical two-room move within the Helsinki region is usually done in one working day, often half. A detached house, or a home with a lot of belongings, can take a full day or run into a second. We give you an estimate with the quote — and because the price is fixed, extra time does not increase the bill.
You are welcome to be there, and many people like to direct which room things go into. You do not need to help carry anything — the job is planned so that we handle it entirely. If you do want to help, agree it in advance so that safety and insurance terms stay in order.
